   This course emphasizes the history of biology and the question of life across eras and civilizations. It highlights the place of technical progress in the evolution of biology

Prerequisites: The knowledge required to follow this course is:

    - Some knowledge of history.

    - Some knowledge of geography and certain basic and experimental sciences.

    - Some knowledge on the different areas of biology.
   
    - A fairly developed general culture


Learning objectives:

- Initiate the application of chronological notions of major scientific events in biology and other related sciences in order to apply these concepts in the different disciplines that include biology and the sciences essential to the curriculum.
- Allows you to master the cumulative nature of human knowledge and your creative spirit;
- Learn the basic notions of the evolution of biological sciences through the ages and civilizations.
- Know the place of technical progress in the evolution of biological sciences, from Prehistory to Modern age through the Antiquity, the Middle Ages and subsequent centuries.
