This course plan is designed to help sport science students as a second language develop the English language skills they need to succeed in their academic and professional careers. The course covers a variety of sport science topics and uses a variety of teaching methods to engage students and help them learn. The course is also differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Communicate effectively in English in basic academic and professional settings related to sport science.
- Read and understand simple academic and professional texts on sport science topics.
- Listen and comprehend basic lectures, presentations, and other spoken English on sport science topics.
- Write clear and concise sentences and paragraphs on sport science topics.
Target Audience
This course is designed for sport science students (First year of Master ) who are learning English as a second language and have a pre-intermediate level of English proficiency.
